Jeanne Darrow Peck is an investor and consultant in lower-and-middle class areas of Chicagoland, fostering affordable housing and community development. She has extensive transactional and finance experience. Through work with clients such as Chicago Community Loan Fund, Oak Park Residence Corporation, Sunshine Management and some individual investors, Jeanne has facilitated portfolio acquisitions of middle-class apartments in Oak Park IL, the addition of a restaurant to the XS Tennis Facility in Washington Park and the acquisition and re-tenanting of a south shore shopping center. Jeanne is connected with many of the hard-working community groups in the areas in which she is active.
Prior to forming her own company, Jeanne worked at Berkadia, Fifield, Prudential Global Investment Management, Jeanne has financed over $4 billion of commercial real estate through acquisitions, permanent and construction loan originations and mezzanine debt/joint venture/preferred equity placements over the span of her 30-year career.
Jeanne is a committed member of Commercial Real Estate Executive Women (CREW) Chicago having served on the chapter Board of 2016-17. She earned an undergraduate degree in Real Estate Finance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne and an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Business School. She is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Managing Broker.
